各位乡亲、各位同仁：
大家好！
潮音袅袅，薪火相传。新加坡潮州八邑会馆自 1929 年成立以来，始终扎根狮城，以血缘、地缘、业缘为纽带，凝聚一代代潮籍乡亲的智慧与力量。我们传承刻苦耐劳、勤俭创业、团结互助、爱国爱祖籍地的潮人精神，在商贸、文化、教育、公益等领域深耕不辍，为新加坡的多元社会发展贡献了重要力量。
迈入新时代，我们既面临新的机遇，也肩负新的使命。会馆将继续秉持 “敦睦乡谊；团结互助；弘扬传统美德；兴办公益；推广文教活动；促进海内外潮商合作与发展” 的宗旨，重点推进三大方向：
深耕文化传承
积极推进潮州文化中心的规划与建设，打造集展览、教育、研究、交流于一体的活力平台，通过数字化手段与互动体验，让潮文化在年轻一代中焕发新生。
赋能青年发展
八邑基金会的成立，为我们的教育与慈善事业注入了新动能，通过 “八邑勤学奖” 等项目，支持学子成长，培育未来栋梁。
拓展国际交流
全力筹备 2027 年第二十四届国际潮团联谊年会，向世界展示新加坡潮社的风采与担当。
第 48 届董事会以 “潮起同心，扬帆远航” 为口号，会馆就像一艘航船，承载着百年潮人的梦想与期盼。前路漫漫，唯有笃行。让我们携手并肩，凝心聚力，在传承中创新，在合作中发展，共同开创新加坡潮社更加辉煌的明天！

Dear fellow Teochews and colleagues,
Greetings!
The sounds of Teochew heritage resonate through the generations. Since its founding in 1929, the Singapore Teochew Poit Ip Huay Kuan has been deeply rooted in the Lion City, bringing together Teochews across generations through bonds of blood, locality, and enterprise. We uphold the Teochew spirit of diligence, thrift, entrepreneurship, solidarity, and loyalty to both Singapore and our ancestral home, making sustained contributions to commerce, culture, education, and community service in Singapore’s multicultural society.
Entering a new era, we face both fresh opportunities and new responsibilities. The association will continue to uphold its mission of “fostering fellowship, promoting solidarity, upholding traditional virtues, advancing charitable work, supporting cultural and educational activities, and promoting cooperation among Teochew communities at home and abroad,” with three key focuses:
Cultural Preservation
We are actively advancing the planning and development of the Teochew Cultural Centre, creating a vibrant platform for exhibitions, education, research, and exchange. Through digital and interactive experiences, we aim to revitalize Teochew culture among the younger generation.
Youth Empowerment
The establishment of the Poit Ip Foundation injects new energy into our education and charitable efforts. Programs such as the “Poit Ip Scholarship for Diligent Students” support young learners and cultivate future leaders.
International Exchange
We are fully preparing for the 24th International Teochew Convention in 2027, showcasing the strength and commitment of Singapore’s Teochew community to the world.
Under the motto “Thriving Together, Excellence Beyond” the 48th Board views the association as a ship carrying the dreams and aspirations of a century of Teochews. The road ahead is long, and only steadfast action will guide us. Let us work hand in hand, unite our hearts and efforts, innovate while preserving our heritage, and develop through collaboration, building a brighter future for the Teochew community in Singapore!
