8月5日，新加坡潮州八邑会馆国内外事务组于东海岸珍宝海鲜餐厅举办小组聚餐，现场氛围轻松融洽。大家提前喜迎新加坡国庆，同时为组别八月生辰同仁集体庆生，本会会长拿督斯里吴木興博士 BBM (L)，副会长、国内外事务组主席沈茂强也一同出席，众人共同切蛋糕，共享欢聚时刻。国内外事务组成立于 2013 年，致力凝聚潮人力量、搭建国际联系，积极参与社区与国家事务，打造出 “亚洲潮人企业家奖”“潮商大师班” 等重点项目，持续拓展全球潮人网络，提升会馆的社会公共影响力。
On 5 August, the Local and International Affairs Committee of Teochew Poit Ip Huay Kuan (Singapore) held a gathering at Jumbo Seafood, East Coast. Members came together to celebrate Singapore’s National Day in advance and celebrated the birthdays of colleagues born in August. President Dato’ Seri Dr Derek Goh BBM(L) and Vice President and Chairman of the LIA Committee, Mr Kenny Sim, also joined the gathering. Everyone came together to cut the birthday cake and enjoy the evening. Established in 2013, the group is dedicated to strengthening global Teochew connections and has launched key initiatives such as the Asian Teochew Entrepreneur Award and Teochew Business Masters Programme, further expanding the global Teochew network.
